The CFAES Office for Research & Graduate Education is pleased to announce the 2023 Annual Celebration of Research Week, which will be held from March 27-31, 2023, in coordination with the CFAES Annual Research Conference.

We hope you will join us 

The 2023 Annual Celebration of Research Week will provide an opportunity to emphasize the many successes of the research community in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Throughout the week we will be sharing fun stories about CFAES research and hosting several events including:

  • The 2023 Poster Competition: Attend live, in-person undergraduate, graduate, and professional poster sessions on both the CFAES Wooster and Columbus Campuses. The annual Poster Competition allows our poster authors an opportunity to share their research with a live audience.
    • Graduate and Professional poster presentations (Wooster) - Monday, March 27, 2023
      Location: Wooster, Shisler Ballroom, 1680 Madison Avenue
      Poster Set-up: 1:00 p.m.
      Judging: 2:00-4:00 p.m.

    • Graduate and Professional Poster Presentations (Columbus) - Tuesday, March 28, 2023
      Location: Columbus, Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive
      Poster Set-up: 9:00 a.m.
      Judging: 10:00-12:00 noon

    • Undergraduate Research Poster Presentations (Columbus) - Tuesday, March 28, 2023
      Location: Columbus, Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive
      Poster Set-up: 12:00 noon
      Judging: 1:00-3:00 p.m.

  • The Annual Research Forum and Awards Ceremony will showcase several CFAES researchers who have been awarded for making outstanding contributions in their respective areas. Dr. Pierzynski, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education, will then share his remarks on the state of the CFAES Research Enterprise. The event will conclude with the announcement of the 2023 Poster Competition winners. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 30th from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.
