GRADUATE/PROFESSIONAL GUIDELINES
Participants in the CFAES Research Forum Poster Competition for graduate and professional students must be currently enrolled or recently graduated students, post-docs, or research staff working on CFAES-supported projects. The competition includes separate categories for Master’s students, Doctoral students, Post-doctoral Scholars, and Research Staff. Eligible participants need to submit their abstract and a PDF of their poster by March 18, 2024.
All posters should be created using the university-approved poster template (found here). The poster size should not exceed 48” x 36”, and it must include specific sections such as title banner, introduction, materials and methods, results, conclusions and discussion, acknowledgments and references. All text and figures should be readable from a distance of one meter, and the presentation should be a coherent series of statements. Participants must set up their posters by 1:00pm on April 9, 2024, at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus, Ohio, and be present during the poster session for judging. Awards will be presented at the CFAES Research Award Ceremony and luncheon on April 11, 2024, with transportation provided (from Wooster to Columbus).
