NEW Internal Grants Program
The CFAES Office for Research & Graduate Education is pleased to announce the new R&GE Internal Grants Program (IGP). The IGP was created to replace SEEDS: The Research Competitive Grants Program, though all currently funded SEEDS projects will remain active and are expected to complete the research and reporting process as planned.
Features & Functions
The IGP has been designed with the goal of reducing the administrative burden on researchers and will include three new competition categories, an easier, user-friendly submission portal and application template, and a shorter project narrative requirement. Internal Grants Program Awards are intended to accomplish the following objectives:
- Increase the competitiveness of researchers in extramural grant programs
- Enhance and encourage creative and innovative research needed to prepare competitive extramural proposals
- Encourage the development of intellectual property
- Promote the creation of faculty teams to develop competitive extramural grant applications by addressing immediate needs
More to Come
The Request for Proposals will be available soon and will include the full program details. All proposals will be due Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Please direct all questions to CFAES-IGP@osu.edu.
