Messaging Matters: Social Media Storytelling
Primary tabs
Researchers are always looking for new ways to share research findings or demonstrate impact. As of 2019, approximately 60% of the world’s population uses social media, making it a great way to interact with your audiences. However, not all social media messaging is created equal. This session focuses on introducing the LIFE model for storytelling (which stands for Learn, Interpret, Frame, and Engage). Participants will determine how to identify their learners (audience), interpret the needs of their learners, frame content for specific learners, and choose the appropriate engagement channels (social platforms) for each learner segment. After this session, you will be well-prepared to create a targeted and engaging social media message.
